A Spot Downtown

I have been looking for a gathering spot for Fellowship Downtown for Sunday mornings. There are lots of empty places in Downtown Memphis, but ones ready to host a church are pretty few.

Many of the spots downtown have large pillars every 10 feet in each direction so you couldn’t get a large group in there that could all see the same thing. Others have no parking. Some would be a nightmare for childcare. Most need thousands of dollars in buildout.

But we found a place. Locked it up earlier today. And I am going to announce it tomorrrow night at the first Prequel.

It is a cool joint, great location…but I have to be honest, after seeing these amazing photos of some modern worship spots….I thought about buying a lotto ticket so we could hook something like one of these:
