May 1995 – Graduated Riverdale High School

Aug 1995 to May 1999 – Attended Union University

June 1999 – Backpacked Europe with my brother Evan

July 1999 – Became a Licensed Real Estate Broker

May 2000 – Graduated from MTSU

May 2000 – Moved to Denton, TX

Aug 2000 to May 2001 – Participated in The Program with Tom Nelson

May 2000 to June 2002 – Interned at College Life

Jan 2002 – Met Ashleigh Jones

July 2002 to May 2003 – Resident Hall Director at UNT – Kerr Hall

December 2002 – Proposed to Ashleigh Jones

March 8, 2003 – Married Ashleigh

May 2003 to Aug 2004 – College Director at Sky Ranch

Aug 2004 – Moved to Memphis to be apart of new church plant Fellowship Memphis

Aug 2004 to Aug 2006 – Vice President of Sales at Ugly Mug Coffee.

November 4, 2004 – JAC was born

April 2005 – We bought our first home

Oct 2005 – Moved in our first home

Jan 2006 – Began discussions with John Bryson about The Residency

Aug 2006 – Charis was born

Aug 2006 – Began Pastoral Residency at Fellowship Memphis

Oct 2006 – Abigail was born

Nov 2008 – Jones was born

Jan 2009 – John completes seminary

Feb 2009 – John is announced as the pastor of Fellowship Downtown

Aug 2009 – Fellowship Downtown Launches

Feb 2010 – Carrolls are matched with Abigail, an Ethiopian girl they hope to adopt summer 2010

May 2010 – John launches the City Leadership team

June 2010 – Abigail comes home to Memphis from Ethiopia
