John, thanks for posting this. REALLY thanks.
I attended a conference a few years back where one speaker was talking about helping for men struggling with sexual addictions. I was interested on several levels: I’d one friend leave the ministry because of porn addiction (and we’re still friends), a friend sexually harassed by her pastor, and another friend in retirement age have to leave the mission field for an affair. I was also struggling having endured some inappropriate behavior by Christian and non-Christian men in Cali–a Christian guy grab me inappropriately, a quasi-stalker coming by my house, a 65-year-old man hitting on me in the dorm (he wants a wife of childbearing age), etc. It was all recent at the time of the conference and I was pretty disillusioned and didn’t feel safe with men at the time.
The conference was on trafficking. Pornography is not a victimless crime. The women and children are often hurt and often doing it against their wills.
Anyway, I found the speaker helpful and he has several resources for men struggling with this in the church, you might check out their video and website:
http://www.avenueresource.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=76&Itemid=94
Their website says 68 percent of male clergy admit having sought pornography online.
90 percent of Christian men have sought it.

No man struggling with this is online, but rarely is the church helping them. Avenue has suggested, anonymous contacts they can make at their website.
The pornography issue of Christians for Biblical Equality has been the most sold resource they’ve ever produced and they’ve had to reprint it.
You can probably find it online at http://www.cbeinternational.org
Thanks for speaking/writing on this. It’s encouraging!!
