Have you guys heard of this? It is called Gender Analyzer.

Here is what you do….you put a url in and then the computer program analyzes if the writer is a male or a female. Their tag line is…”Man or Woman – who is writing that blog?”

So here are some sites you may or may not know and the results:

We think http://johntalks.wordpress.com is written by a man(66%).  (I am going to work on getting this number up immediately.)

We have strong indicators that http://ashleighcarroll.com is written by a woman(96%).

We think http://ricktrotter.wordpress.com is written by a man(61%). (Cutting it close Rick.)

We think http://heatherltrotter.wordpress.com is written by a woman (81%).

We have strong indicators that http://doobybrain.com is written by a man (100%). (Congratulations. You are all man!)

We think http://6yearmed.blogspot.com is written by a woman(75%).

We think http://www.benarment.com/history_in_the_making/ is written by a man (60%).

We have strong indicators that http://ragamuffinsoul.com is written by a man (99%). 

This is where it gets weird:

We think http://tonymorganlive.com is written by a woman(65%).

We guess http://flowerdust.net is written by a man (57%), however it’s quite gender neutral.

We guess http://jonteague.wordpress.com is written by a woman (51%), however it’s quite gender neutral. (Sorry Jon, I didn’t write the program!)

We think http://benwasher.wordpress.com is written by a woman (61%).  (Yikes! Sorry Ben.)

We think http://mrchrishill.blogspot.com is written by a woman(83%).  (Oh my! I don’t even know what to say here.)

This one is my absolute favorite. The blog for Emergent Women:

We have strong indicators that http://emergingwomen.blogspot.com is written by a man(91%).
