My friend Chris Hill asked me to write a guest post for his blog. He told me just write on whatever I wanted to. That is much harder than you think. Especially when writing for someone else’s audience.

“To be clear…this post is about surprising and not about pranking (another practice I know a thing or two about). Surprises are not pranks, but pranks can be surprising. Here is the definition I am working from: A surprise is an unexpected occasion of joy. ”
