I have not been eating much fast food lately, with the Biggest Loser deal going on. But I would still call myself a fast food expert and consider this little chart helpful when deciding where to eat.
Many of you will be on the road this week traveling, print out this guide and it should solve any arguments about where to stop and get a meal.
A little context, this was the first message in a new series going through the Sermon on the Mount. Bryan Loritts our lead pastor gave the message.
Obviously if you go to Fellowship, this message will be great for context and helping you dive deep into this 20 week mini series inside of our year long series on the Gospel, but even if you don’t go to Fellowship or don’t even like the church, this is just one of those life messages people need to hear.
You can currently stream the audio on-line, the video should be up by tomorrow. You can also podcast everything we do on iTunes by searching “Fellowship Memphis”
Next Wednesday the Gates Foundation will announce which school district they will be awarding $100 million dollars to. Memphis is one of four finalist.
Hillsborough, Florida, the city of Pittsburg, and a group of Charter Schools in Los Angeles are rallying prayers, hopeful wishes, and good karma as well.
Obviously it is exciting that the Gates family would decide to invest so much money into the education system. And I know for a fact, that just being a finalist has made the Memphis City School system better. To be considered and keep making cuts, certain steps had to be taken. Those steps are positive ones that will hopefully carry forward whether Memphis is awarded the funding or not.
As a resident of Memphis and likely a father of a MCS student next fall, I am obviously biased in my prayers.
I am sure each of the 4 finalist need the investment, I just hope it comes our way.
